The Characters of TOWN CENTRE

Meet Stan, a city-bred graphic designer of Assyrian descent. After witnessing an arms deal going down in a petshop, he is plucked from his upper middle class Melbourne lifestyle and placed in the country town of Thathath. His new identity? (Reluctant) manager of Town Centre!
Stan: played by Zac Drayson

Cameron, a middle aged Farmer turned retailer, puts his over-active, misguided imagination to work as the manager of “Morph-A-Less”, a department chain. 
Will new bloke Stan threaten Cameron's hard-earned position of top dog of Town Centre?

Also working at "Morph-A-Less" are Peter and Emily, a lovely young couple who aren’t a couple but are united in fighting off the slow creep of insanity that is their working environment.

Keef, owner of “Keef’s Gaming Highway”, has a legitimate reason to play games all day. Michael works for Keef, and despite being poorly-treated, can never quite build the courage to quit. Plus there’s a cute chick, Mel, in the shop next door.

Fashion chain store “Vomèt” is the perfect workplace for Tamara who dreams to be a fashion designer, if only someone would tell her how to dress.

Tamara's boss, Katriona, is  already at the top of the local 'hot-factor' ladder. She loves her job, the fashion, the flirting...and the psychological mind-games.

Spinster Sue has owned her giftware shop, “Fluff ‘n’ Stuff Boutique”, for thirty years and would be frightfully lonely without it. Having step-niece Steph work with her is both pleasing and worrying as Steph’s pro-am acting career often takes over her shop.

Swinging between misguided enthusiasm and blatant opposition, the unpredictable retailers frustrate new manager Stan's every move. Maintaining a secret identity, saving the Centre and keeping his misfit shopkeepers happy will proves to be the challenge of a lifetime!

Despite their differences, Stanley and the shopkeepers slowly turn Town Centre around for the good of all. As long as no one discovers who Stanley really is...
