Sarah Frost
Creator, Writer, Executive Producer, Founder of hotfrost productions.
TOWN CENTRE is the product of her fascination with the absurd as well as her deep love for country lifestyle and that indefinable essence that makes someone “Aussie”. Having worked in a shopping centre in country NSW in her teenage years she has much to draw from personal experience.
“TOWN CENTRE has been in development for about 7 years. It is inspired by my desire to see more excellent, warm-hearted, cheeky Aussie comedies on TV. I’ve watched many great shows come from the US and UK over the past decade and want to see more come from my country, about my people, with my accent. I love the comedy we produce in Australia and I hope we get to produce so much more. There is an exciting move of up and coming writers, producers, directors and actors that prove our brilliant talent and innovation have got serious potential. I hope TOWN CENTRE can be counted among this wave of fresh comedy .”
